Happy Fall! The air is getting cooler, leaves are turning, and it’s almost time for hunting season! In this issue, we introduce you to Kristy Titus in our cover story. Kristy is an avid outdoors woman whose first love is elk hunting. Read all about her on page 16. You’ll also find some fall fashion tips, because we can’t always dress in camouflage, right? Other articles highlighted in this issue include lessons on maintaining your firearm, confidence as it relates to training and self-protection, and an interesting question to ponder: Should YOU carry a gun? (If you read that article and decide “hmm, maybe not yet!’, then check out our list of non-lethal self-defense products! It may be just what you need for yourself or a loved one.)
It is with a mixture of sadness and excitement for the future that I must announce that this will be my last issue as Managing Editor of The American Woman Shooter Magazine. I have loved being a part of this magazine for the past several years and being a part of it’s growth and evolution. I have enjoyed working with all of the ladies whom we have featured and have enjoyed interacting with our readers and social media followers. However, I feel that it is time for me to pursue other opportunities. So I bid you all a very fond farewell. Thank you so much for your support and patronage. Nothing feels better than hearing “job well done” by satisfied subscribers! All the best, and keep focused on the front sight!
